Week 15 of NFL PrizePicks predictions is here, and we’ll kick it off with Chargers-Raiders on Thursday Night Football. With two backup quarterbacks starting, we have a total of just 34.5 points, with the Raiders as 3.5-point home favorites. Both teams stand at 5-8 with playoff hopes still alive but trending in the wrong direction. The Raiders have lost three games in a row, while the Chargers just received news that star quarterback Justin Herbert will miss the remainder of the season after having finger surgery. Let’s dive into the best PrizePicks NFL plays for Thursday Night Football, starting with Davante Adams.
With the assistance of OddsShopper’s PrizePicks optimizer, I’ve designed these plays to help you make informed choices and maximize your chances of success. If you aren’t on PrizePicks yet, you can find the best PrizePicks promo code here.
NFL PrizePicks Predictions for Week 15 TNF
Davante Adams More/Less Than 6 Receptions
Davante Adams has struggled this season with poor quarterback play from Jimmy Garoppolo and now Aidan O’Connell. He’s averaging just 5.8 receptions per game, and his 11.4 yards per catch are his lowest since 2015 when his average was 9.4. Adams ranks eighth in the NFL in targets with 124 but has caught just 61% of them, which ranks 32nd. Over the last four games, his targets have been 11, 12, seven and 10, and tonight he gets a favorable matchup against the Chargers.
The Chargers allow the fifth most yards to wide receivers and rank 16th in receptions allowed. Joey Bosa is out for the Chargers, making their pass rush not as potent. Aidan O’Connell should get a little more time, allowing Adams to see 10+ targets and get to seven receptions.

If you’re looking for some other pick’em action on tonight’s Thursday Night Football game, Underdog Fantasy has a pick on sale for Austin Ekeler: All he needs is to record 1 yard rushing or receiving and this pick is a winner! Remember, you need at least two picks for a Standard Underdog entry, and if you’re looking to find the highest-EV Underdog picks, OddsShopper Premium has the No. 1 Pick’em projections out there!
Easton Stick More/Less Than 189.5 Pass Yards
A fifth-round pick by the Chargers in 2019, Easton Stick has been around the organization for a few years and tonight he’ll get his first career NFL start. Stick came in relief of Justin Herbert in the Week 13 loss to Denver and completed 13 of 24 passes for 179 yards. If Easton is going to surpass this prop, he’s going to need someone to step up, as Chargers leading receiver Keenan Allen has been ruled out for tonight’s game.
As bad as the Raiders have looked, they still allow the 10th fewest pass yards in the NFL. There isn’t much data on Easton Stick, but some other books have this prop at 185.5. The Chargers have scored 13 total points over their last two games, which is lower than their 15.25 team total tonight. With the loss of Allen and a struggling offense, I’m going less than for Stick.
NFL PrizePicks Play: Easton Stick Less Than 189.5 Pass Yards
Austin Ekeler More/Less Than 48.5 Rushing Yards
A first-round fantasy pick for most back in August, Austin Ekeler has been losing carries because of the Chargers’ offensive struggles. He had 10 of the 19 rushing attempts by the Chargers and ran for 51 yards in the Week 13 loss to Denver. Isaiah Spiller had six carries while Joshua Kelly had three. This was the third straight game where Ekeler had just 10 carries after getting at least 14 in his previous six games. We could continue to see Spiller get carries, but Ekeler might be able to get to 49 yards this week anyway.
The Raiders’ defense allows the seventh most rushing attempts and sixth most yards to running backs. When these teams met in Week 4, Ekeler didn’t play but Kelly had 17 carries for 65 yards while the Chargers had 155 total rushing yards. Ekeler has a bounce-back week and gets to 49 rushing yards tonight.
