We are nearing the halfway point of the NFL season with teams starting to solidify their position by Week 7. It’s beginning to get into the thick of bye season, with multiple teams resting each week. That doesn’t have a huge impact on the betting board, but for Survivor it’s absolutely crucial. Between the teams on bye and the teams you have already used, the selections get increasingly different each week, so make sure to look at all possibilities. With a few major upsets in Week 7, pools are thinning out more and more and the finish line is that much closer. Let’s dive into a few possibilities for Week 7 NFL Survivor picks.

Buffalo Bills (-8.5) vs. New England Patriots | NFL Survivor Week 7
First up is one of the obvious choices of the week, with the Bills north of touchdown favorites against New England. It’s a divisional game on the road, which is always scary, but the Patriots are an absolute mess heading into this matchup. They sit at 1-5 on the year, have no answer at quarterback and are coming off another disappointing effort against Las Vegas.
Buffalo isn’t an option for many since a lot of people have used them already this season. Just last week the Bills were north of two-touchdown favorites against the Giants, and although it was ugly, they did win the game. The Bills don’t get the Patriots at home until Week 17, which is too far to plan, making them that much more appealing right now. If they are available and you want the biggest favorite on the board, then Buffalo is the team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) vs. Atlanta Falcons | NFL Survivor Week 7
Big favorites always have merit in Survivor, but if trying to win a large pool, that cannot be the strategy forever. On certain weeks you need to roll the dice, be different and hope you survive while a few big teams get upset. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a team most have available, and they shouldn’t be a popular choice this week. It’s easy to see how much riskier they are than Buffalo, as this moneyline is near -135 across the market.
The Falcons are a team to pick on, especially outside the dome, where they are already 0-2 this season. Last week at home, Desmond Ridder threw three terrible interceptions, and they let a winnable game against Washington get away. Now the Falcons hit the road in a divisional matchup against a Tampa squad that is a respectable 3-2. The two losses were to Detroit and Philadelphia, both of whom look like playoff teams, and the Buccaneers get to stay at home with Atlanta coming to town. This is a good spot as the most aggressive Survivor selection of the week for larger pools.
Seattle Seahawks (-8) vs. Arizona Cardinals | NFL Survivor Week 7
Seattle is closer to Buffalo than Tampa Bay in terms of risk tolerance. Many people already used the Seahawks a few weeks ago when they took on Carolina at home. That helps leverage them in this spot, where they are big favorites at home against Arizona. Although the Cardinals have battled this year, they are still 1-5 and trending downward with each passing week. The defense got gashed on the ground last game by the Rams, and that should not change heading up to Seattle.
The Seahawks are 3-2 and now are back home after two straight road games. Geno Smith has full control of the offense, and the Arizona secondary can be exploited. With the Panthers game already in the books, the spots where Seattle sticks out as a Survivor option are rapidly disappearing. It’s this week with Arizona and then a future date with the Commanders as the ones to target. Given this is a week with six bye teams, limited options and a tricky schedule, Seattle checks the most boxes and is the preferred option in NFL Week 7 Survivor.
