NFL Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Predictions for Week 15
Tyrone Tracy Jr. Higher Than 17.5 Receiving Yards
What’s more fun than backing a Giants team on an eight-game losing streak that seemingly has nothing to hope for? Backing it when it is a 16-point home underdog, of course!
Now, I shouldn’t say the Giants have nothing at all about which to feel positive. Tyrone Tracy Jr. is a legitimately good running back that New York found in the late rounds of this year’s draft. And though he has only gone for more than 17.5 yards receiving in five 13 games this season, we like the game environment for him this week.
Baltimore being such a massive favorite lends credence to the Giants throwing a lot as the game goes on, and regardless of who is at quarterback (probably Tommy DeVito), Tracy stands to see some targets in that scenario. He saw at least three in each of the last three games, and he crushed the 17.5 projection all three times.
Put it all together, and Tracy has a 54% chance of going for at least 18 yards receiving.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Higher Than 33.5 Receiving Yards
The good news for Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is that he is for the most part in the good graces of Will Levis. Only Calvin Ridley has more targets for the Titans over the last six games. The bad news is that Levis is the one throwing him the ball, and thus Westbrook-Ikhine has only caught 16 of those targets. Over the last four games, Westbrook-Ikhine caught just eight of his 21 targets (38.1%), though he averaged over 30 yards per reception.
The main things to take away from that are A) Westbrook-Ikhine is going to get looks, and B) even if Levis’ accuracy is nowhere to be found, Westbrook-Ikhine can easily surpass 33.5 yards with one catch — and certainly with two.
On top of that, Tennessee is a home dog to the Bengals, aka the shootout extraordinaire of the NFL. Cincinnati will score, so the Titans will have to throw to keep up. And the Bengals are bad defensively, so Westbrook-Ikhine can find room. Stokastic’s NFL DFS Projected Stats give him 41 yards receiving on 4.6 targets, and we have him at a 54% chance of going higher than 33.5.
This gives the Underdog NFL entry a 29% chance to win 3x as a Standard play. Don’t forget to explore our Underdog Fantasy Optimizer for more +EV expert NFL picks from the experts—it’s your top resource for crushing pick’em slates.
