After last week’s column went a perfect 2-0, we’ll look to stay hot in Week 2. We cashed tickets for Josh Allen and Aaron Jones, and while those weren’t trading for longshot odds, a one-unit wager on both would still have yielded two units of profit. Let’s dive into our NFL Week 2 anytime touchdown scorer bets. If you need help finding sharp bets on your own, check out our guide to betting on NFL anytime touchdown scorers!

The easiest anytime touchdown scorer bet of the week is for the clear WR1 of the Los Angeles Rams, Cooper Kupp. You’ll find his touchdown odds set to between -135 and +100 at FanDuel, which is a must-play for that price with Puka Nacua on the injured reserve.
Last week, Kupp racked up three targets inside the 20-yard line, catching two for 13 yards and a score. Kupp and quarterback Matthew Stafford are famous for their chemistry, especially in the red zone, but it appears his recent injury-plagued seasons have some scared.
Let’s not forget that in 2021, Kupp led the NFL in receiving touchdowns (16) on an NFL-high 37 red-zone targets. Kupp tallied 11 red-zone targets in 2022 and 18 in 2023, which is all the more impressive considering he played just 21 regular-season games those seasons.
Kupp and the Rams will face an Arizona Cardinals team that allowed the Bills to tally 352 yards and score 34 points. They also coughed up 152 receiving yards and two scores to wideouts. That was a recipe for disaster against Josh Allen, and it’s a recipe for disaster against Stafford, too.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels made a strong impression in his NFL debut, showcasing his ground game. The rookie ran 16 times for 88 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers.
Daniels showed no hesitation in keeping the ball near the goal line, and we should expect more of the same this weekend.
As noted last week with my Aaron Jones anytime touchdown bet, the New York Giants’ run defense is lacking. Last season, they ranked 30th in defensive rush success rate, allowing 4.7 yards per carry and 1.4 rushing touchdowns per game. After Week 1, they are 23rd in rush success rate, giving up 4.3 yards per carry and one rushing touchdown to Jones.
The Minnesota Vikings scored on both of their red zone trips against the Giants, making Sam Darnold look like a seasoned pro. This week, they face an even tougher challenge with the need to contain a dual-threat quarterback in Daniels.
Given that Daniels’ game will likely rely heavily on his ground efforts, we should take advantage of the current plus prices before the books adjust them — especially against a weak defense.
