Heading into NFL Week 8, OddsShopper is showing a bunch of value on player props for Sunday’s games. I am going to highlight a couple in this article, but there are dozens of great bets available in the betting model if you are looking to grow your bankroll this weekend. Let’s get to my top NFL Week 8 betting model predictions.
NFL Week 8 Betting Model Predictions | October 29
Van Jefferson O/U 15.5 Receiving Yards
After falling out of the Rams’ receiving corps, Van Jefferson was traded to the Falcons. To this point, Atlanta isn’t really utilizing him either.
While the prop is low, the lack of targets for Jefferson makes this look like a good under. In two games with the Falcons, Jefferson has only caught a total of one pass for five yards.
NFL Week 8 Betting Model Prediction: Van Jefferson Under 15.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at PointsBet
Tyjae Spears O/U 31.5 Rushing Yards
The Titans’ season appears over but it isn’t leading to them making trades ahead of next week’s trade deadline. After rumors that Derrick Henry could get traded, reports are now indicating that the Titans will hold onto Henry past the deadline.
This decision seems bizarre when considering Henry’s age and the lifespan of running backs, but this means we can expect Tyjae Spears to remain behind Henry on the depth chart. Last week, Spears finished with just four carries for 15 yards playing behind Henry.
NFL Week 8 Betting Model Prediction: Tyjae Spears Under 31.5 Rushing Yards (-120) at Bet365
