The Packers head into Las Vegas to take on a Raiders team that is struggling to score and win games — but gets a boost back with Jimmy Garoppolo returning. Davante Adams will play, although he is dealing with a rather significant shoulder injury. Then there’s Aaron Jones, who returns after an 11-day rest and is primed to take advantage of Vegas and its non-existent defense.

The Packers have their run game back, which only helps Jordan Love continue to navigate against NFL defenses. There’s another player on Green Bay who is also recently back that stands as good a chance to score first, but he has double the odds. Kittle was in a similar spot to where Christian Watson is now, devalued by the books because of injury or slow start. Watson was clearly limited last time out in his season debut but isn’t even designated on the injury list. A fully healthy Watson puts so much pressure on the Raiders defense, as it does not have a soul on the squad to slow him down. Love comes off a three-touchdown game and should immediately look for Watson in the opening drive. Jump on this price now, as once he scores, Watson’s numbers will dip moving forward.

The Raiders are the worst rushing team in the NFL and sit 25th in passing yards per game. Their 62 total points on offense are tied with the Giants for second worst in the league, right behind the hopeless Patriots. Still, someone has to score tonight, right? As difficult as things have been, regardless of the quarterback, Vegas will have an opportunity to improve on the ground, as the Packers are awful against the run. Even if the Raiders do try to move the ball in the air, their main source of success will come on the ground, most likely with Josh Jacobs. Unfortunately for Zamir White and anyone who bets him, the volume isn’t there for him to get a carry in the opening series. The brave will sprinkle something on the team’s second-leading rusher — Garoppolo — but the best play is to eat the chalk and go with what’s been working. Jacobs stands the best chance at scoring first.
