Packers-Raiders Player Prop
Is this the week Christian Watson gets unleashed? The 24-year-old wide receiver has been dealing with a hamstring injury that held him out of the first three games of the season. He returned to action last week on limited snaps and made a small impact. He reeled in two catches on four targets including a 24 yard ball from Jordan Love. There’s nothing yet on a snap increase but he’s put together a full week of practice which the Packers last game being on Thursday, Sept. 28.

The Las Vegas Raiders were beaten by the deep ball multiple times in their Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Calvin Austin III reeled in a 72-yard touchdown, while George Pickens caught a 32-yard reception. Watson’s deep ball playmaking is something coach Matt LaFleur can’t ignore, and I expect it to be on full display on Monday. We saw flashes of it last season as Watson caught eight balls of over 20+ yards. His line of 42 yards is too low for a player of Watson’s caliber, especially after resting for more than a week.

BONUS Packers-Raiders Player Prop
If you’re looking for an extra pick for Monday night’s Packers-Raiders game, you’re in luck! OddsShopper’s tools have identified one market with a ton of edge for tonight’s game. Raiders tight end Michael Mayer owns a receiving yardage prop of 7.5 yards, and, while he may need only a single catch to cash the over, our betting model doesn’t expect him to get it done.
No bet has more positive expected value for tonight’s Monday Night Football game than this Packers-Raiders player prop — per our betting model, at least. Packers-Raiders Anytime Touchdown Scorer
Here I am, double dipping on Christian Watson. The sportsbooks have yet to factor in what many are anticipating a rise in Watson’s snap count. He reeled in a touchdown on Thursday Night Football last week while seeing just 25 offensive snaps. He was a touchdown machine to conclude his 2022 season. In his last 10 games to conclude 2022, Watson scored a touchdown in four, including two games with multiple touchdowns.
Question marks have lingered in Packers camp about the status of running back Aaron Jones. The talented running back is dealing with a hamstring injury that has limited him in practice all week. If Jones is announced out, I expect this line to drop down to +170. Even with Jones in the lineup, Watson is the clear-cut most talented receiver in the Packers room. He’ll have plenty of opportunities in the redzone against a Raiders defense that is allowing the ninth most points per game in football.
