The most anticipated Thursday Night Football game since its inception takes place tonight inside of the league’s most historic cities. Or something. It’s Week 10 in the NFL and Tyson Bagent has a better handle on the game than Bryce Young. Moreover, the Carolina Panthers look to be the worst team in the land. Chicago isn’t much better, but might be good enough to squeeze this out at home. Either way, someone has to score first – we think. So here are the best First TD options for both the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears!

It was always Chuba Hubbard, but maybe not in the way you thought. The Bears do a few things right, mainly slow to a halt most running games. With Young struggling to make basic throws, the Bears know exactly what Carolina is going to do.
Neither Hubbard and Sanders are expected to light up the ground game, but the former has the better chance in being a prime pass catcher. Young is going to hit one of his two backs to score the first TD. In turn, it’s a matter of discerning who has the better chance combined with the best odds.
Sanders sitting at 20-1 is a true fade as Hubbard will get the majority of chances in the first possession. While Chicago has found gold in slowing down running backs on the ground, they can’t stop anyone in that position from catching passes. Hubbard is the top option especially when the run game halts, and is a great choice at 7-1 on BetMGM.

It’s been a few weeks now as Bagent should be as comfortable as it gets with this offense. Neither are anything of note, but at least there’s a weekly comfort in the game plan and preparation. The Bears current QB isn’t good enough to dominate a solid Panthers defense in the air, but they do have an old faithful in Chicago’s tight end.
Here’s one thing the Bears have established with Bagent, he’s going to throw at least 30 times and start early against Carolina. Only once in three starts – a hammering of the Raiders – has Bagent not thrown 30 times in a game. He has a trustworthy and established connection with Cole Kmet who stands at 10-1 to score the first TD. This is tremendous value for Kmet who should see every early red zone chance.
