The Kansas City Chiefs kick off Christmas Day in the NFL by welcoming in the Las Vegas Raiders. Things haven’t gone quite according to plan for the Chiefs, at least on offense, despite their 9-5 record atop the AFC West. The Raiders experienced a ton of volatility already, and this season isn’t even over — from firing coaches to benching quarterbacks to putting up 63 against the Chargers. Don’t expect anywhere near that amount of production against the Chiefs defense. In fact, don’t expect much from the Raiders at all. Here is the best for Raiders-Chiefs same-game parlay picks.
Raiders-Chiefs NFL Same-Game Parlay Picks | Christmas Day
Kansas City Chiefs -10 (Alt NFL Spread)
As of now, the Raiders’ top two players will either miss the game or play through injury, most notably Josh Jacobs. The fact that Maxx Crosby might also miss time is a factor in whether the Raiders can stop the Chiefs’ opening drive, limiting them to no more than a field goal. The Chiefs may not look as sharp on offense, but they still have Patrick Mahomes, the same quarterback who is notably 10-1 straight up against the Raiders.
The reality here is that the Raiders might not have enough horses with injury, but they do know the Chiefs all too well. Antonio Pierce will have a game plan to take advantage of the continued mistakes and struggles by Kansas City on offense. The line moving off 10 to 10.5 is too risky, as we’ve seen the Chiefs grind their way to 10-point victories, burning anyone laying a hook on the fifth-biggest key number.
The simple play here is to pay a small fee to move this back to -10 on DraftKings. That’s where OddsShopper found the best line to build this same-game parlay.
Raiders-Chiefs Under 41 Points (Alt NFL Total)
The strength of each team is on defense. This is a rare Christmas Day game on a Monday not featured in prime time. The Chiefs have been able to stay alive and ultimately win games where their offense is sloppy, mainly because of what they’ve done to improve their defense. This should be a feast for Kansas City pass rushers, breaking through and punishing Aidan O’Connell. Mahomes and the offense might get out early, or they may struggle out of the gate, but either way they will work their way to 20 points.
It’s hard to see the Raiders scoring 14 points to keep this close, but already laying the 10 on the alt line, Vegas should come up empty handed. This is far from the same defense that the Raiders torched — a significant improvement from the Chargers, to say the least. Vegas can still put pressure on Mahomes, especially if Crosby is out, so we love this game trending to the under. The total has dipped below a key number to 40.5, so it’s best to just bump it back to 41.
Noah Gray Under 1.5 Receptions (NFL Player Prop)
There aren’t many +EV bets available at the time for this game, but OddsShopper did find one with Gray. The Chiefs tight end stayed under this number in two of his last four games. With all the trust issues going on in Kansas City, it’s safe to say Gray hasn’t emerged as a favorite for Mahomes. The under presents itself from a market-based approach, as OddsShopper found least seven other books charging more juice than DraftKings, and it’s allowed in their same-game parlays.
The Chiefs already have a tight end in Travis Kelce — ever heard of him? Even with intent to limit Kelce, Mahomes and the Chiefs are more than content pushing the offense through Isiah Pacheco. Gray is such a non-factor that the Chiefs can use him as a bonus or an emergency progression. Add him here.
