Rams-Bengals Player Prop

If Joe Burrow can’t play, the Bengals will start Jake Browning, who has just one NFL pass attempt to his name. Even if Burrow can go, he’ll have to rely on an offensive line that ranks 30th in pass-block win rate (39%) despite major offseason investments, including left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. Either scenario sets up well for star defensive tackle Aaron Donald to do some damage.

Donald hasn’t started the season all that efficiently as a pass rusher. He has generated just a half-sack and three total quarterback pressures. However, he has lined up against a pair of above-average offensive lines in pass-block win rate, so some struggles are excusable. He also doesn’t have as many teammates to help him out in the pass rush as before, allowing opposing blockers to focus on him.

Donald should get a full sack on Monday Night Football this evening. The last time he faced the Bengals, he racked up two sacks and six pressures. The last time he faced now-Bengals center Ted Karras, which came back in 2020, he recorded one sack and two pressures. Donald averaged only 0.5 sacks per game last year, but this matchup sets up perfectly for him to get in the backfield. Lock this one in for enough to profit a full unit.

Rams-Bengals Anytime Touchdown Scorer

With safety Jessie Bates III gone, the Bengals lack the depth at defensive back they need to defend against receivers who can take the top off their defense. Their replacement for Bates, Nick Scott, owns an atrocious PFF grade of 46.5 through two weeks. Although poor coverage wasn’t as big of a problem in Week 1 due to the weather, Week 2 saw Nelson Agholor get open deep for a touchdown. That problem could (and should) recur in Week 3.

If anyone can find paydirt on a splash play, it’s wide receiver Tutu Atwell. The 5-foot-9 receiver ran a 4.44-second 40-yard dash and clocked the 13th-fastest speed of all ball carriers last season at 21.46 mph. He has just two touchdowns to his name since entering the NFL in 2020, but, with Cooper Kupp out and Matthew Stafford back, Atwell has drawn a monstrous 8.5 targets per game, which he has turned into 15.9 yards per catch. That’s a recipe for success against Cincinnati’s mediocre secondary.
