Bengals-Ravens Same Game Parlay Bet for Thursday Night Football

Mark Andrews 4+ Receptions (TNF Player Prop)

I’m throwing out that Ravens debacle against the Browns from last week. This Ravens team is INCREDIBLY bipolar; I’ve been saying it for the better part of two years. However, we do know they’re capable of just flipping the script completely and looking like the best team in football, especially at home.

I have a feeling that might happen this week against the Bengals, and that starts and ends with Mark Andrews getting involved bigly. Against the Browns, he had only four targets and two catches, which is criminal.

If the Ravens want any chance of beating the Bengals, the passing game will have to flow through Andrews. In his last three games against Cincinnati, Andrews has 21 catches (8, 8 and 5). Zooming out even further, he has cleared four or more receptions in seven of his last eight games against the Bengals.

Cincy gives up the sixth-most receptions per game to opposing tight ends, and it’s clear Lamar Jackson has a favorite target against the Bengals. It’s Andrews SZN.

Joe Mixon 2+ Receptions (TNF Player Prop)

They say the best ability is availability. Joe Mixon is the epitome of available. He isn’t great, but dang it, he’s always out there … mostly because he’s all the Bengals have at running back. Bad for them; great for us.

We’re going for a Mixon receptions prop as part of our Bengals-Ravens parlay, and we’re only looking for two or more.

This is a prop that Mixon has cashed 78% of the time so far in 2023. More specifically, he’s cashed this bet in almost 90% of the time against the Ravens in his last nine games.

Mixon has gotten three or more targets in five straight games, and against the Ravens earlier this year, he caught four of five passes thrown his way. With Tee Higgins likely out again for Cincy, he should have more opportunities.

Tyler Boyd 25+ Receiving Yards (TNF Player Prop)

I never feel great about putting ANY faith in Tyler Boyd, but without Higgins, it makes it more tolerable.

We saw what the Bengals offense looked like sans Higgins last week, and it funneled more action toward Boyd. He had 117 yards on eight catches.

But how many times has he cleared the 25-yard mark? Outside of Week 1, Boyd has gone over 25 yards in every game. So we’re taking a number he’s more than capable of hitting here and including it in our parlay with confidence.

Trenton Irwin 25+ Receiving Yards (TNF Player Prop)

The biggest beneficiary in terms of snaps with Higgins out was Trenton Irwin. He saw 82% of snaps a week ago and garnered four targets from Joe Burrow.

What I love about Irwin in this instance is that he’s prone to clearing this number on one catch, so he doesn’t need a boat load of targets to get us there. He had a 32-yard catch last week and a 21-yard catch against the 49ers in Week 8.

Most of the defensive attention will likely be geared toward stopping Ja’Marr Chase, as it should, so we could see another four or five targets funneled Irwin’s way.

For a little more confidence, the OddsShopper Prop Tool likes Irwin to clear his 30.5 receiving yard prop 56% of the time. If the projections like him to cross 30.5 that much, it definitely likes the 25-plus. Let’s go.
