Steelers-Colts Player Prop Pick

Michael Pittman Prop O/U 73.5 Receiving Yards

Let’s back one of the most underrated wide receivers in football: Michael Pittman Jr. of the Indianapolis Colts. Pittman ranks in the top five in receptions and targets, primarily because he is one of the few capable Colts’ pass catchers.

I mean no disrespect to Josh Downs, who will be a stud in this league, but quarterback Gardner Minshew has relied on Pittman all season long. Now, let’s talk about why Pittman is our top Steelers-Colts player prop pick.

With star running back Jonathan Taylor sidelined again, Pittman will continue to attract plenty of targets. In the four games this season in which Taylor sat and Minshew threw more than 10 passes, Pittman is averaging over 83 yards and has registered more than 10 targets each time.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh’s defense was just humbled last week by allowing 21 points in the first half and 240 yards through the air to the woeful New England Patriots led by Bailey Zappe. Ninety of those yards came by JuJu Smith-Schuster, who had three catches of at least 15 yards in the first half alone. I expect much of the attention of the Steelers’ secondary, led by Minkah Fitzpatrick, to focus on Pittman, especially during an extended week. Still, he has cashed this prop in four straight games and is looking to cement himself as a top-15 wide receiver.

Steelers-Colts Player Prop Pick: Michael Pittman Over 73.5 Receiving Yards -113 at FanDuel

OddsShopper’s model has identified this Zack Moss player prop pick as the highest-value bet on all of Saturday’s slate. With true odds of -132, Moss to record over 13.5 receiving yards for -113 at FanDuel stands out as a seriously sharp bet. For more +EV wagers like this one, subscribe to OddsShopper Premium!

Steelers-Colts Anytime Touchdown Scorer Pick

We have many underrated anytime touchdown scorer options for Saturday’s Steelers-Colts game. Michael Pittman Jr. is listed at +180 on FanDuel, but I see value on the Steelers’ side, even with Mitchell Trubisky under center. I’m focusing on George Pickens, whose undisputed talent will be on full display come Saturday.

Who would’ve thought Trubisky, coming in for Kenny Pickett — who remains sidelined due to a high ankle sprain — would benefit Pickens? In the last two games Trubisky has played, Pickens has racked up nine catches but just one target in the red zone.

This is far from a bet I expect to cash without a sweat, as it sits at +300 on ESPN. Still, Pickens has great value in finding the end zone for the fourth time this season at those odds, especially against a Colts defense that has allowed a touchdown on more than half of their defensive drives that enter the red zone.
