Mike Tomlin’s incredible accomplishment of never having a losing season remains intact — for now. The record now rests on Mitchell Trubisky landing the plane as the Steelers need to split two of their last four to keep Tomlin above water. That won’t be an easy feat this week, as the Steelers line up against the Indianapolis Colts, who are also starting a backup quarterback in Gardner Minshew. Of course, Minshew has outplayed his backup status and looks as good as most starters this year. The bigger question remains in what the Colts have to navigate around T.J. Watt and this Steelers defense, especially minus Jonathan Taylor. Here are the best same-game parlay picks for Saturday’s Steelers-Colts game!
Steelers-Colts Same-Game Parlay Picks Saturday
Steelers (+105) at Colts
Pittsburgh comes in after two of the worst losses in their recent regular season history. It also looks like Watt will play, which is huge, considering they sit just 1-10 without him. The amount of defensive pressure expected on Minshew is akin to whatever’s spewing out of local Steelers sports talk radio following their loss to the Patriots. Mike Tomlin has experienced recent success against whoever has coached this Colts team, taking the last seven straight games against Indy. It’s hard to take 1.5 points in any scenario when the moneyline sits above even money, so the better value is that Trubisky doesn’t screw it up and the Steelers win this game outright. This is fairly new territory with a backup running the show, but having poor quarterback play is nothing new to Tomlin either. The Steelers are 8-1 SUATS in the last nine games coming off a SUATS loss — it’s a good bounce-back spot here.
Mitchell Trubisky Anytime TD (NFL Player Prop)
There’s no better option in winning this game for Pittsburgh than having Trubisky throw as little as possible. While the Steelers have two strong options at the running back position, there remains a third option to score who should not be ignored. Trubisky was active on the ground last week with eight carries and a rushing score. Some of that production has stemmed from scrambling, but the Steelers are just better off designing run plays within the red zone for their quarterback as opposed to forcing a pass for an interception or letting him hold onto the ball too long. Let’s not act like this is a bonafide starting quarterback in the NFL — Trubisky is one of the last guys Pittsburgh wants pressing with throws. The Colts do give up a healthy share of touchdowns on the ground, including to the quarterback position. Tomlin is a smart guy — don’t be shocked if Trubisky has some designed run plays early in this game

Chris Boswell Over 1.5 Field Goals Made (NFL Player Prop)
The Steelers have a rough offense but boast good enough defense to control the game’s tempo. The Colts shouldn’t be carving up the Steelers defense, especially with Watt on the field. It’s a big ask for the Colts to even win this game, let alone blow out the Steelers. Points won’t be coming fast and furious, allowing for a nice over 1.5 field goals made for Chris Boswell.
Boswell hsa failed to hit this number in three of the last four games, but strategies change each week. Look at last week — Pittsburgh wasn’t in many great positions to even settle for kicks. They needed points. That changes Saturday as the Steelers should put enough pressure on the Colts to stall their early drives. As the Colts settle for field goals, the Steelers won’t be inclined to pass up three points on the other side. They are going to need as many points with Trubisky. This pick even gets us to 11-1 for the SGP.
