Steelers-Ravens Same-Game Parlay Picks (January 6)

Nobody hates losing in the NFL more than Jon Harbaugh. How else can anyone describe his burning desire to win meaningless games, mainly held in the preseason. This may seem meaningless on the surface, but Baltimore has faired quite well as a home dog in this series – covering 13 of the last 15 – and has extra incentive to knock out the Steelers from the playoffs. Pittsburgh has different ideas as they wade through a mini QB controversy ahead of a pivotal, season-defining game. Here is the best same game parlay for the Steelers-Ravens game!

Steelers-Ravens NFL Same-Game Parlay Picks

Baltimore +3.5*

This line has been pummeled down from 4 and is universally sitting at 3 across the board. BetMGM is the only book offering even money as everywhere else requires some juice. The Ravens care about this game and have a proven history of beating the Steelers as a home dog. What’s truly fascinating about this team is their refusal to let down, at least recently. They followed up a massive road win in San Francisco with total destruction against the Dolphins – putting up 56 in the process. The Ravens are a ridiculous 16-2 SU at home off a 35+ point win. They simply do not let down.

The Steelers are in a truly unenviable situation; needing to win their final game to seal a playoff spot. They certainly need some help from Indy but Pittsburgh cannot lose this game. Mike Tomlin’s non-losing streak is intact yet he’s going back to Mason Rudolph, a QB I want no part in laying points. I’ll take a team coaching to win, getting 3.5* at home, and has zero pressure on their shoulders.

*BetMGM moves this to 3.5 only for SGP

George Pickens 50+ Receiving Yards (NFL Alt Player Prop)

The Steelers offense moves through George Pickens. It’s been standout performances in each of the past two weeks – hitting 195 then 131 receiving yards. Not much should change here from an offensive game plan, especially with Rudolph still calling the shots. Rudolph just threw for 274 yards in a win over the Seahawks with nearly half of those yards going to Pickens. The Ravens aren’t going to be playing a lot of starters on defense, at least not long. This is still a must win game for Pittsburgh and while their run game has improved, their bread, butter, & jam is Pickens.

Rudolph’s passing number is a little lower this week but the target share to Pickens shouldn’t change. So even if Rudolph hits 200 passing yards, this should still hit the over with his favorite receiver.

Play Smarter. Win More.

Najee Harris Anytime TD (NFL Player Prop)

This final leg moves the SGP to +850 as it remains a bit contrarian to the Ravens +3.5. Enough to justify a play that’s cashed in two straight games for Najee Harris. This is another play where a specific matchup on offense – especially one that does NOT rely on Mason Rudolph – can take advantage of who Baltimore is sitting. The Ravens have done well against running backs but most of that recent history is moot with backups. While this doesn’t guarantee a win – too many elements to ignore the 3.5 – it does open some value for Harris to score.

The Steelers will keep using both Harris and the explosive Jaylen Warren, but Harris remains a big goal line threat. He’s also been a huge relief to an improving passing game, and scored twice in Pittsburgh’s most recent game in Seattle. We like him to score again.
