The Super Bowl is finally upon us. It’s why we are here to not only drop some Super Bowl MVP odds, but our Super Bowl MVP pick and other info.
After two weeks of debates, hot takes, and absurd bets, we are just days away from kickoff. While non-bettors on major networks get in front of cameras to tell you what color Gatorade to bet, we are focused on a much better prop – with higher value. We’ve only had one instance in the history of Super Bowls where the MVP was on the losing team, so don’t start getting crazy now.
The Chiefs will win this football game, so we narrow it down with our favorite play for MVP!

Super Bowl MVP Picks and Info
The biggest thing in determining the MVP is first deciding who wins the game.
I’m on the Chiefs ML and alt spread at -2.5, so it’s clear I’m going to play a Chiefs player to win.
If you disagree or are just infatuated with Brock Purdy, you must play either Deebo Samuel or Purdy himself.
The reason why is twofold, primarily because the heavy chalk is Christian McCaffery, but also because Purdy will get a benefit of the doubt.

Super Bowl MVP
It’s easy to focus on the dynasty story surrounding Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid – trust me, we will soon – but don’t overlook the incredible storyline of “Mr. Irrelevant” leading his team to a Super Bowl victory. That won’t go unnoticed by the voters and Purdy will get the benefit of the doubt even over San Francisco’s all-world running back. The only way neither of those guys win it on a winning Niners team is if a player like Samuel goes off for multiple scores.
But that’s not going to happen. The Chiefs will key in on McCaffery and force Purdy to make some throws downfield. KC’s pass rush is no laughing matter and will put immense pressure on Purdy. So we switch our attention to the offensive side of the ball for the Chiefs. The easy play here is just taking the QB. The chalk of all chalk for any Super Bowl MVP is the winning QB. You can certainly lay down some cash on Mahomes to win it, but there are better options with higher value on the board.
Travis Kelce is 14-1 on FanDuel to win the MVP. This is the best value on the board. You may be tired of Taylor Swift, but the NFL isn’t. This is a massive story featuring one of two – Beyonce? – power players that could take the spotlight from any boyfriend on the field. Including a guy all over State Farm and other commercials. Kelce is in everyone’s mind because of his girlfriend but don’t forget he’s on an absolute tear through the playoffs.
10 grabs, 100+ yards, 2+ TDs is going to do it. That’s a very attainable stat line as Mahomes will throw to Kelce as much as possible. The entire world knew Kelce was getting the ball over the past three games and he still gets his. It’s a tad off that he’s not sitting at 10-1 to win this, as he’s the only player – outside of McCaffery – that can take over the game as a non-QB.
Jump on Kelce now to win this thing but if you want an even longer shot, take this honorable mention. As a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, I am shocked to see such a commitment to the run by Reid. I’m not surprised by any means that a hardnosed kid from Rutgers is dominating the ground game for the Chiefs. Isiah Pacheco should thrive against the Niners run defense so long as he’s given the chance. That’s the hook here. Reid won’t move away from the run game, not this year, adding insane value to Pacheco who could easily tally 80-100 yards and multiple scores, more than his quarterback. You can bet Pacheco at +2800 on BetMGM right now.
BEST BET: Travis Kelce MVP +1400 (FanDuel)
Honorable Mention: Isiah Pacheco +2800 (BetMGM)
