Texans-Cowboys Player Anytime Touchdown Bet for Monday Night Football (Nov. 18)

The Dallas Cowboys host the Houston Texans to close out Week 11 in the NFL, the second-biggest weekend event at Jerry World. While nobody got knocked out in the Mike Tyson fight, the Cowboys may not be so likely. C.J. Stroud and his Texans squad are desperate for a win. Sitting at just 6-4 on the year, it’s getting tight as the team looks to stop a two-game skid. The Cowboys are a mess. Down Dak Prescott and possibly CeeDee Lamb, Dallas might be the worst team in the NFL right now. It’s fun times in Dallas, and we are here for it with the best Texans-Cowboys anytime touchdown bet!

Texans-Cowboys Anytime Touchdown Bet for Monday

Two factors are pointing towards taking a player to score their first touchdown of the season — beyond the price, of course. The first is the Texans offense needs a get-right spot. It hasn’t been sharp, especially over the past stretch of losses. While Houston’s defense is in prime shape — coming off a five-pick day against Jared Goff — it’s the offense that’s been most concerning. Even with Micah Parsons returning, the Cowboys are more punching bag than formidable opponent.

The other factor is the player is far from a ghost. The Texans have utilized Dalton Schultz plenty this year; he’s just avoided the end zone. After spending five years with Dallas, Schultz has been a staple in the Texans passing game over the past two seasons. He’s seen plenty of targets and was heavily involved in three of the past four games. He’s had three grabs in three straight games, two of them going over 50 receiving yards. Schultz has long receptions of 23, 28 and most recently 32 yards.

So we have a guy heading back to his old stomping grounds as an impact player on a struggling offense. That offense gets a slight break playing against a defense without any hope or life. It gets a small bump with Parsons, which actually helps the cause for Schultz to score. The pass rush might be the only thing working, at least compared to everything else with Dallas, and that extra pressure on Stroud will cause quicker throws. Anything from shorter routes to overcompensation on the outside from Dallas opens a lane for Schultz to score.

Thanks to Portfolio EV, we found a great price on Schultz scoring at +350 on the night. Most books are in the +255 range or worse, making this a far better option. It’s a risk but the reward is greater as Schultz just needs a little bit of a break to get that first touchdown grab of the year. Dallas will be a willing dance partner for its old friend.
