Texans Moneyline

I’m starting with the Houston Texans on the moneyline. This feels like an easy first leg to set the foundation. The Cowboys are down to Cooper Rush at quarterback, and, frankly, he stinks. CeeDee Lamb is either playing hurt or dealing with something that’s slowing him down. Micah Parsons is back, which gives Dallas a bump defensively, but it’s not enough to overcome the mess they’re in right now.

The Cowboys secondary has been atrocious, and while Parsons’ return helps up front, it doesn’t magically fix the back end. Houston is the better team heading into this matchup, and I just don’t see them losing this game. Lock in the Texans.

Under 42.5 Total Points

Next up is the total. I’m bumping it up to 42.5 to stay below a key number. Numbers like 42, 49 and 51 are important to watch for totals, and 42.5 gives us a solid cushion.

This game won’t be about C.J. Stroud lighting it up in prime time. The Texans are likely to focus on running the football and controlling the game. Joe Mixon is in a great spot to pick up significant yardage, and Stroud should have no problem managing the offense. This is all about efficiency and getting back on track for Houston as they make a postseason push. Expect a slower-paced, lower-scoring game.

C.J. Stroud Over 225.5 Combined Passing and Rushing Yards

I’m taking over 225.5 combined passing and rushing yards, not just passing yards. Parsons’ return might limit the Texans’ run game, but it also opens up opportunities for Stroud to escape the pocket and pick up yards with his legs. Whether through designed plays or scrambling, he should have no trouble hitting this number.

Joe Mixon Over 70 Rushing Yards

Mixon has the best matchup on the field. Even with Parsons back, the Cowboys will struggle to keep Mixon from reaching the second level. This Texans offense thrives when the ground game sets the tone, and Mixon should be able to take full advantage. We’re playing it safe here with the alt line of 70+ rushing yards, a mark he should clear comfortably.

Nico Collins Over 50 Receiving Yards

Nico Collins official line sits between 69.5 and 75.5 depending on the sportsbook, but we’re keeping it simple for the parlay. Collins remains one of Stroud’s top weapons and should have no issues eclipsing this modest threshold against a shaky Dallas secondary.
