Broncos-Chargers TNF Best Bets

For the side, I’m leaning toward the Chargers at -2.5. The Chargers are favorites at home, and while both teams are highly motivated, the Chargers have the edge. The Broncos are coming off a rough loss to the Buccaneers last week, and this game gives them a chance to tie up the standings with the Chargers, who are just a game behind.

Despite some struggles, Justin Herbert has been steady, with only two interceptions on the season, which are the fewest in the league. Meanwhile, Bo Nix has been turning the ball over more frequently lately, and some fortunate miscues from opponents have aided Denver’s defense.

Homefield advantage may not be significant for the Chargers, but I trust their turnover-free offense, and with a veteran quarterback like Herbert, they should be able to take care of business tonight, especially after a tough loss last week.

TNF Best Bet for Broncos-Chargers: Chargers -2.5

Best TNF Player Prop Bets for Week 16

Quentin Johnston Under 3.5 Receptions

Johnston should line up outside for over 90% of his snaps, where he will be facing off with Patrick Surtain II. Surtain, who’s back from injury, is one of the top perimeter defenders in the league, and whether he shadows Johnston or not, he’ll be a tough matchup. Given Surtain’s lockdown ability, Johnston is going to have a hard time hitting the over on this prop.

Ladd McConkey Over 5.5 Receptions

McConkey will face Ja’Quan McMillian, who’s no slouch but has struggled with completion rates, allowing completions on almost 75% of targets against him. McConkey has become a primary target in the Broncos offense, and I expect him to see plenty of opportunities against McMillian.

Courtland Sutton to Score a Touchdown (+210)

I’m once again backing Sutton to score a touchdown, and I really like the odds here at +210 on bet365. Sutton has been a key red zone target for the Broncos and has seen nearly 30% of the target share over the past seven weeks, with almost 9.5 targets per game. Not only that, but Sutton leads the league in end zone targets with 14. The Chargers defense has struggled against wide receivers, allowing the fifth most touchdowns to the position, so Sutton’s chances of finding the end zone are looking good.

The Chargers defense has been more solid against the run, so I’m not expecting much from the running backs tonight. But Sutton’s connection with Nix is undeniable, and with his high target volume, I like him to find the end zone tonight.
