Seahawks-Bears TNF Best Bets
You’ve probably heard someone say, “The Seahawks aren’t eliminated from playoff contention yet.” While technically true, it’s not the full story. This game is essentially meaningless for Seattle unless the Rams lose to the Cardinals on Saturday night. The Seahawks and Rams meet in Week 18, and even if Seattle wins tonight and the Rams win Saturday, Seattle will still need an absolute miracle to make the playoffs because the first four tiebreakers already favor the Rams.
It almost makes me want to bet the Bears here. Hear me out — Seattle’s traveling to Chicago on the day after Christmas for a game that means virtually nothing to them unless the Rams lose. Meanwhile, this is the Bears’ last home game of another brutal season.
Yes, Chicago has been a disaster, but Seattle has issues of their own. Geno Smith is banged up and struggling with turnovers, especially in the red zone. And while Zach Charbonnet is a capable replacement, the absence of Kenneth Walker is notable. On top of that, this is a deflating spot for Seattle after last week’s brutal loss.
I did sprinkle a little on the Bears +4.5. They’re still a bad team, but in a game like this, with Seattle knowing it means almost nothing, Chicago has a shot to keep it close.

Best TNF Player Prop Bets for Week 17
D’Andre Swift Over 58.5 Rushing Yards
You can grab this at -110 on FanDuel, better odds than anywhere else. Despite the return of Roschon Johnson, Swift dominated touches last week, handling nine of the 10 running back carries and playing 73% of snaps. Seattle’s run defense has been shaky, ranking bottom 10 in the league and allowing the sixth-most yards per carry to opposing backs.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections have Swift at 71 rushing yards tonight, so this line feels like solid value. As long as the game script doesn’t get away from the Bears, Swift should be able to clear this number.
D.K. Metcalf Anytime Touchdown (+220 on DraftKings)
Metcalf’s touchdown odds are mispriced here. Sharp sportsbooks like Pinnacle have him at +169, so getting +220 on DraftKings is a value spot. He leads the team in end zone targets in games he’s played this season, making him a strong candidate to find the end zone tonight.
Roschon Johnson Anytime Touchdown (+470 on FanDuel)
This is another pure value play. Johnson is priced at +300 to +350 on most books, so +470 on FanDuel is worth a small sprinkle. He’s scored six touchdowns this year, converting six of his nine goal line carries. With Swift’s struggles at the goal line, Johnson has a knack for punching it in when given the chance.
