Puka Nacua H/L Than 66.5 Receiving Yards
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been no stranger to the aforementioned volatility. He exited the first game of the season with an injury, missed the next five games, and upon returning, caught seven of nine targets for 106 yards. However, in his most recent outing, he managed just one reception on four targets for 11 yards before being ejected for throwing a punch.
If – keyword, if – he can stay on the field for all four quarters, we should expect significant production from the second-year receiver.
Stokastic’s NFL DFS projections project Nacua to have 5.6 receptions for 76 receiving yards this evening. The Dolphins are allowing 10.3 yards per completion and PFF grades them with the 27th rated pass coverage in the NFL.
Let’s look for Nacua to get back into a rhythm against this suspect Miami secondary.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: Puka Nacua Higher Than 66.5 Receiving Yards
De’Von Achane H/L Than 45.5 Receiving Yards
The Miami Dolphins’ running back has seemingly found his groove over the past couple of games, rushing for a total of 160 yards and accumulating 108 receiving yards. The return of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has clearly benefited Achane.
However, due to his recent surge in production, the odds have become a bit inflated – particularly on his receiving yards. Underdog has set the line at 45.5 receiving yards, but Stokastic’s industry-leading NFL DFS projections have Achane closer to 4.6 receptions for just 34 receiving yards.
This season, the Rams are allowing opposing running backs an average of 3.8 receptions for 34.6 receiving yards per game. For the Dolphins to keep pace with the Rams, they’ll likely need to push the ball downfield to their premier targets, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. The Rams’ run defense has struggled significantly, so if there’s a place for Achane to shine, it’s more likely to be in the ground game rather than through the air.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: De’Von Achane Lower Than 45.5 Receiving Yards
