Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Predictions Today: Time for the Real Breece Hall

We are back to close down Week 6 in the NFL fresh off cashing our last MNF ticket. We have a strong matchup with the AFC East still wide open — just a game separating the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets. The two teams convene tonight at MetLife stadium, albeit with the Jets minus their head coach and their offensive coordinator “removed from duties.” Aaron Rodgers and Breece Hall may have new life, but Josh Allen and the Bills will look to dash any hopes of a turnaround. Here are your top two Underdog Fantasy pick’em predictions for Monday Night Football!

Breece Hall H/L Than 13.5 Rushing Attempts

There’s one thing the Jets should be able to do at will — assuming their own coaching staff recognizes it — and that’s run the ball. Buffalo is either disinterested or incapable of stopping the ground game, and a change in direction could turn up for Hall. He was over this projection in two of the first three games of the season — two wins and one loss — yet has seen a dip in touches on the ground. Forget Aaron Rodgers; nine carries in London for Hall were a fireable offense in its own right.

Hall faces a much weaker opponent tonight in the Bills and remains the heavy favorite to carry the majority of run plays. With a new offensive coordinator, it becomes a little easier in applying logic and reason, as Nathaniel Hackett subscribed to neither. Rodgers should rely on Hall out of the backfield too, pushing his receptions to the five or six range. That should push Hall over this projection with his total touches at 20-plus on the night.

He’s a massive weapon, and if anything, the Jets have one true crack at seeing how good he can be against a run defense that’s as willing of a dance partner as it gets.

Dalton Kincaid H/L Than 38.5 Receiving Yards

The 38.5 receiving yards continue to be a smack in the face to Dalton Kincaid, especially as the stakes get higher. It’s only Week 6, but this game could easily be part of a tiebreaker or advantage in the standings. They are the only two teams in the division with a viable chance of doing anything, and Kincaid continues to be undervalued. He failed to top this projection last game against the Texans but still saw a near-season-high six targets.

The Bills wreak of desperation in a weak division where they simply cannot pull away. The Jets are soft on the ground, and while Josh Allen and James Cook should handle that side, Allen will have soft spots to exploit in the middle of the field for Kincaid. The Bills tight end comes off his top 2 targeted games in the NFL and is becoming more of an essential part of this offense. We like the Bills to find ways to get Kincaid the ball or go down trying.
