Tyreek Hill H/L Than 54.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
The only way this number is that low is if the Dolphins are down to their backup – or third string QB. The spread is still below the key number of 3, yet Miami’s top skill player is staring down a 54.5 rushing AND receiving yards play. The biggest reason why I moved on this was how desperate Miami is with the football. They can’t ask any of the three possible QBs to take major risks – waiting in the pocket to take big throws down field to Hill. The team can, however, get the ball as quick as possible in Hill’s hands – to try and open lanes for a big play.
This is not the typical matchup without Tua Tagliavola on the field, so everyone’s numbers are understandably reduced. It’s hard to lean on previous games or trends since the drop of QB play is rather significant. While not truly enough to sway many points on the spread – it is for individual players like Hill. He has the speed and vision to break an end around or quick pitch for big yards. The fact that Miami is down to their backup QBs only means more of a chance that Hill carries the ball as well as catches it.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: Tyreek Hill Higher Than 54.5 Rushing and Receiving Yards
Jason Myers H/L Than 1.5 FG Made
The Seahawks are hoping their defense can carry across some of the country, mainly to slow down Detroit’s offense. The Under has played the last two times to the Lions at home, and another prime time game against a tight defense doesn’t help. Seattle is giving up just over 14 points per game through three weeks, winning their lone road game in New England.
The prime time element – taking points any way you can get them – combined with defense leading the way for Seattle, are good funnels to field goals. Jason Myers will be called upon frequently tonight to save drives as they stall in Lions territory.
Myers only missed this mark once this year, a blowout victory over the Dolphins. That won’t be the case tonight as Detroit will be hard to pull away in this game. Even if Seattle is up, they won’t be dominating the game as they did against Miami. I like the Seahawks to make some moves between the 20s and take points any possible way they can. That means Myers kicks at least two field goals tonight.
Underdog Fantasy Pick’em Prediction: Jason Myers Higher Than 1.5 Field Goals
