Vikings-Broncos Player Prop Pick

Russell Wilson Prop O/U 19.5 Pass Completions

Is Russell Wilson back? Wilson and the Denver Broncos offense put together a great game plan last Monday Night against the Buffalo Bills and came out victorious. They dominated the time of possession with 37 minutes on offense, which led to Wilson completing 24 of his 29 pass attempts. Now, on Sunday Night, against a Vikings defense that allows quarterbacks to complete passes at the sixth-highest rate in football, I’m banking on the Broncos offense continuing to roll.

Running back Javonte Williams has opened up this Broncos offense in a significant way. He’s carried the ball 63 times in his last three games and is expected to have another big workload come Sunday Night. Books have opened up his rushing attempts prop at 16.5 with vig on the over. On a short week, it’d be ideal if the Broncos mixed in Jaleel McLaughlin and Samaje Perine, but I expect Wilson to be the catalyst of the offense and sling the ball around the field. Like the Broncos, he’s playing his best football of the last two seasons. He hasn’t thrown an interception in over a month and is completing his passes at a 68% clip – the 11th-highest rate in football. The Broncos defense has been stout, but the Vikings, led by Joshua Dobbs, have shown they can put up points in a hurry and make this a competitive game and a positive game script for our Russell Wilson player prop bet.

Vikings-Broncos Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Let’s head over to the Vikings offense for our top anytime touchdown scorer. Without Justin Jefferson, somebody needs to step up. T.J. Hockenson has been that guy for Minnesota. But he’ll be the main focus of the Broncos defense on Sunday Night. Instead, we’re backing running back Ty Chandler to find the endzone for the Vikings.

Reports have surfaced that starting running back Alexander Mattison is “good to go” after suffering a concussion last week. I’m not sure what that means his workload will look like, but he’s been terrible anyway. He’s averaging 3.5 yards per carry this season and hasn’t had a run longer than 10 yards since Week 7. Plug in Ty Chandler, who, I won’t lie, hasn’t shown much this season, but he did find the endzone last week on a run. That’s already more rushing touchdowns than Mattison has had all season. Even if Mattison is a full go, I expect Chandler to get a workload that’ll give us a chance to cash this prop.

DraftKings Sportsbook has already adjusted to the Mattison news, as they’ve moved Chandler’s touchdown odds to +140. Meanwhile, FanDuel has Chandler listed at a juicy +220. If you can access Bet365, head there, where Chandler is listed at +260.
