Week 13 Monday Night Football Best Bets for Browns-Broncos
The Denver Broncos have been playing excellent football lately. At home, they’re allowing a league-low 14.8 points per game, which is a testament to their defense. Over the course of the season, they’ve turned into one of the top 5 defenses in the NFL, and their point differential at home is almost +10.
Coming into the season, many expected the Broncos to be in full rebuild mode with a rookie quarterback and a makeshift defense. But under the guidance of head coach Sean Payton and defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, they’ve quickly become a contender. It’s hard to believe, but the Broncos are now favored to make the playoffs at -180, a far cry from their early-season struggles.
On the other hand, the Cleveland Browns have had a tough time on the road this season. They’ve only won two of their four away games, and their losses have been ugly, including a combined score of 62-24 in blowouts against the Chargers and Saints. While their pass rush, led by Myles Garrett, is a strength, their offense, especially with inconsistent quarterback play, has been unreliable.
I’m backing the Broncos to cover the 6-point spread tonight. They’ve been solid at home, and the Browns just haven’t looked like a team that can compete in tough road environments. Denver’s defense and offensive improvements should be enough to get the win and cover.
Week 13 MNF Best Bet: Broncos -6 (-115, Bet365)

Bo Nix has been hit or miss when it comes to rushing production, but he’s shown the ability to break off big runs when the opportunity presents itself. In games where he’s had significant rushing yards, he’s posted 35, 47, 61 and 75 yards.
The key here is that Nix has the ability to rip off a long run, and with the pressure from Cleveland’s defense, he may be forced to scramble and take off with the ball more often than usual. At +430, this is a longshot bet, but if Nix hits 40 rushing yards, it’ll pay off big.
If you want to play it a little safer, you could consider betting on Nix to rush for 30-plus yards. But for me, the value is on the 40-yard line at that juicy price.
Best MNF NFL Player Prop Bet: Bo Nix 40+ Rushing Yards (+430)
This is a prop I’m comfortable with. Jameis Winston is known for being a bit reckless with the football, and Denver’s defense, which has been solid all year, should create opportunities for turnovers. The odds on this prop are much better on bet365 compared to other sportsbooks, so I’m jumping on it tonight.
Winston has thrown an interception in almost every game this season, and with Denver’s pass rush and secondary pressure, it’s a safe bet to expect a mistake from the Browns quarterback tonight.
Best MNF NFL Player Prop Bet: Jameis Winston to Throw an Interception (-155)
The Broncos defense has been solid, but I expect them to focus on limiting the outside receivers, which could open up opportunities for Njoku in the middle of the field. With Cedric Tillman out, Njoku should see an increase in targets. He’s been a reliable option for Winston, and given the matchup that favors the middle of the field, I expect him to clear four receptions.
Best MNF NFL Player Prop Bet: David Njoku 4+ Receptions
