Saturday’s appetizer was far from any disappointment! The home dog Texans destroyed the Browns, and the inevitable collapse of the Dolphins came in Kansas City. The NFL moved the Steelers-Bills game to Monday due to a snow emergency, but there is plenty of value to choose a first scorer in each of the remaining two games. The Rams are in Detroit as both quarterbacks face their former team, but before that, the Cowboys will host a Packers team on a massive heater. Here are the best Wild Card Sunday first touchdown plays for each game!

Wild Card Sunday First Touchdown Picks for Sunday
Green Bay Packers First Touchdown Scorer
The line already dropped, both Tony Pollard and CeeDee Lamb are heavy chalk below 6-1 and Jordan Love is unconscious — all reasons why the Packers receivers stand out with the most value to score first, and the favorite should come as no surprise. Love is throwing with confidence and success — just one pick over the last eight games combined and 18 touchdowns in that same stretch. The Cowboys are at home and have the best receiver on the field, so naturally their numbers will take a little hit.
Green Bay’s offense isn’t necessarily better but is more balanced, at least in this matchup. While its pass defense is vulnerable, it’s not anywhere near as bad as Dallas’ inability to stop the run. The Packers don’t need to come out firing, rather methodically move the ball with some mixed play calling, keeping Dallas guessing on defense.
While Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs are trending towards playing through injury, the best of the bunch is Jayden Reed. The rookie standout has three scores over as his last three games and comes off a 100-yard game against the Bears. Love to Reed, bet that first at +1400.

Los Angeles Rams First Touchdown Scorer
Sometimes it’s the chalk, other times it’s Demarcus Robinson. The Lions have a basket full of problems trying to defend Cooper Kupp, let alone the addition of Puka Nacua. Robinson will get solo looks outside or in the slot with little coverage up top, as Detroit can’t afford to let the other two guys get open. Matthew Stafford will move the ball around, at least try to in their opening drive.
Outside of one big play to score, the more Stafford hits Kupp or Nacua before the actual touchdown, the better it is for a Robinson first touchdown. Dan Campbell is well aware of the Stafford-to-Kupp connection, especially with the latter moving all over the field. Robinson has been a bucket over his last five games, scoring a touchdown in four of those contests.
Be it big play or sealing a long drive in the red zone, Robinson doesn’t need to be Stafford’s first choice in his progressions to grab the first touchdown against Detroit.
