The PGA Tour rolls on with a major with this weekend. We’re at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland for the British Open Championship, and Scottie Scheffler (+500) is the obvious favorite. As a result, some more value exists further down the board on the prop markets. Let’s dive into our British Open Championship expert picks and predictions as we discuss the best golf props for the weekend. @jazzrazdfs – Alex Noren T40: This is not the highest-upside bet in the world, but it is one that I feel strongly has some value attached to it.
Noren played his way into this field with a 10th place finish last week in Scotland, where he gained strokes across the board. He has a decade-plus of experience in Open Championships with five top-20 results to his name, and he doesn’t mind the nasty wind and rain in the forecast.
His short game at times is world class, and we know that is necessary around Royal Troon this week. Before moving to the PGA Tour, Noren was a prolific winner in Europe, and that included at many venues similar to this one.
We have a ton of margin for error with the top-40 market, and at -110, I think this is a great bet to add to the card.

@shanderbets – Tony Finau T20: This is a slam number for Tony Finau for a multitude of reasons.
Let’s begin with his overall success on links courses over the past decade — and how well that matches with the current field. Royal Troon requires far more accuracy to the green than St. Andrews, as the landing spots are significantly tighter.
Finau finished T18 here eight years ago and knows how deadly those final six holes can be, especially with the wind. He’s handling his putter as well as most after a switch, and he should be fully equipped to deal with these slower greens.
Play this one for a unit at odds of +175 or better.
