The group stage of the 2023 Women’s World Cup continues on Tuesday with a loaded four-game slate. Essentially, every match on Tuesday has at least one team to look out for in the field. Germany and Brazil are two of those teams, and everyone is excited to see what those two countries can bring to the table. Respectively, they have +750 and +2900 odds to win the World Cup this year. Also, Brazil’s all-time leading goal scorer, Marta, will be playing in her sixth Women’s World Cup, a journey that has spanned two decades. All in all, Tuesday is full of great storylines, players and matchups. Let’s jump right into the best Women’s World Cup bets with a Germany-Morocco prediction as well as a Colombia-South Korea prediction.
Germany and Alexandra Popp are obviously the expected winners from Group H, sitting at No. 2 in the FIFA Women’s Rankings and having been runners-up in the 2021 Euros. The next knockout qualification spot is up for grabs between Colombia and South Korea. Respectively, they have -150 and -105 odds to qualify from their group, which is the closest decision left on the board. Moreover, they play each other on Matchday 1, which means they can put a great foot forward in terms of qualification if one team should come out on top.

Germany-Morocco Prediction
First things first, it is probably time to start giving the underdogs some credit in this World Cup. In previous Women’s World Cups, there has been a huge disparity between the top and bottom talent and some massive scorelines as a result. So far, only 33% of the matches have been decided by a goal or more. This is a testament to how much Women’s soccer has grown, both in popularity and quality in recent years. Specifically, 40th-ranked Nigeria held Canada to a clean sheet, Vietnam kept the USWNT to just three goals, and even Haiti put up a courageous fight versus the Lionesses of England. In turn, bettors should adapt strategy and bet on lower-ranked teams to cover.
Germany is clearly the heavy favorites in this match, with an implied win probability of 94.7%. Germany was also a strong bet to win the entire tournament, so this is a team to back heavily. Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s team has won its last five matches against African opponents on an aggregated scoreline of 22-0. For more proof of a strong incoming performance, it is also 7-1-0 in opening matches of the Women’s World Cup.
Still, with all of that being said, Morocco and the smaller teams in this tournament are worthy of respect. Similarly to its men’s team, Morocco is quite defensive, conceding only eight times in its last 10 matches. More impressively, it held European teams like Italy and Switzerland to clean sheets in the build up to this tournament. Outside of its defense, AFCON Player of the Tournament Ghizlane Chebbak is a name to look out for in the midfield. She is the best player on this Morocco team and can make a difference all over the pitch.
For this match, side with Morocco to cover the +2.5 spread, with odds of +105. It will not win against the Germans, but it can control the scoreline.
Final Germany-Morocco Prediction: Morocco +2.5 (+105, DraftKings)

Colombia-South Korea Prediction
Colombia-South Korea is one of the more significant group stages matches, Colombia gets a slight edge because of the way it has prepared itself for this tournament. It has only won four out of its last 10 matches, but over that span it has played Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Italy and France.
On the other hand, South Korea has played Japan, China and Canada since its failure in the Asian Cup Final. Moreover, it built up to this tournament with two matches against Zambia and one match against Haiti and won all three. South Korea also features a squad full of aging veterans like Ji So-yun who might be playing in their last World Cup. It is hard to expect the exact same crop of players, who did not win a match at France 2019, to do more at this World Cup.
Colombia did not qualify for the last World Cup, so this is truly a fresh slate for a huge selection of talent. Its offense has some really fun pieces such as Real Madrid’s Linda Caicedo and Levante’s Mayra Ramirez. The latter compiled 25 goals contributions over just 27 games in Liga F last season, and she is surely one to watch.
From a betting angle, side with the Colombia draws no bet at -110 to account for a rather likely draw scenario. On top of that, go for a half-unit play on Ramirez to score anytime at +300.
Final Colombia-South Korea Prediction: Colombia Draw No Bet (-110, DraftKings)
Mayra Ramirez Anytime Scorer (+300, DraftKings)
