Aryna Sabalenka (+500) is just behind Swiatek on the tennis odds board. Sabalenka won the first Grand Slam of her career at this year’s Australian Open, topping Elena Rybakina in the final match. Rybakina (+600) odds to win the 2023 US Open are just below Sabalanka’s.

The biggest surprise of the 2023 Women’s tennis circuit was Marketa Vondrousova’s win at Wimbledon. Vondrousova entered Wimbledon has a middling player on the tennis odds board, but outperformed the chances given to her by the betting market. Vondrousova (+1400) now finds herself in the top five in the Women’s US Open odds with the final Grand Slam just over two weeks away.

Vondrousova’s opponent in the Wimbledon finale was Ons Jabeur, who has reached several Grand Slam finals only to find herself on the short end of the stick in each one. Jabeur (+1100) is still considered one of the top women’s tennis players on the tour and near the top of the odds for 2023’s US Open.

Four other players find themselves at the top of the Women’s US Open odds with chances shorter than 20:1. Cori Gauff (+1400), Jessica Pegula (+1400), Mirra Andreeva (+1600) and Elina Svitolina (+1800) round out the board. None of the four have ever won a tennis Grand Slam tournament.

Gauff and Andreeva are two of the most intriguing names in the Women’s US Open odds due to their age. Cori Gauff burst on the scene a year ago at just 19-years old. Andreeva is beginning to cement her place in the WTA this year at just 16-years old. Regardless of this year’s US Open results, the two have potential to excite tennis fans and bettors for years to come.
