Wimbledon has arrived as players take the court Monday for Round 1 of the Grand Slam tennis tournament. Novak Djokovic looks to continue his momentum from the French Open and win his 24th Grand Slam. It won’t be easy, as Djokovic will have to get through a strong men’s field, including the man he beat in the Roland Garros finale, Carlos Alcaraz. Iga Swiatek is Djokovic’s counterpart on the women’s side, coming in as a heavy favorite to takedown the trophy. Let’s see where the full Wimbledon odds stand before Monday’s tennis get’s under way.

Wimbledon Odds: Djokovic, Swiatek Dwarf the Field

Wimbledon Odds, Via DraftKings Sportsbook

Men’s
Novak Djokovic -160
Carlos Alcaraz +350
Daniil Medvedev +2000
Jannik Sinner +2000
Alexander Zverev +3500
Sebastian Korda +35oo
Holger Rune +3500
Taylor Fritz +4000

Women’s
Iga Swiatek +300
Elena Rybakina +500
Aryna Sabalenka +600
Petra Kvitova +1300
Cori Gauff +1600
Ons Jabeur +1700
Karolina Muchova +2000
Donna Vekic +2000

Two players dwarf the field on the men’s side of the Wimbledon odds board. There’s Novak Djokovic who is a -160 favorite to win the tournament, followed by Carlos Alcaraz at +350 and everyone else. Oddsmakers are bearish on the potential of the other participants, despite their name value. Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner are 20:1 to win the Grand Slam event, while Alexander Zverev, Sebastian Korda and Holger Rune are at 35:1. Nick Krygios was originally lined at +4500 before he withdrew from Wimbledon on Sunday.

The last time Djokovic took the court was in the finale of the French Open. He defeated Carlos Alcaraz in four sets to win the title. Djokovic put on a clinic against the 20-year old, winning the first set 6-3, dropping Set 2 and then winning with back-to-back 6-1s in the 3rd and 4th. Alcaraz was hampered by cramping and leg issues toward the middle of the match, proving the youngster has a long way to go in terms of fitness if he wants to reach the level of Djokovic. Nevertheless, the talent is there, and the rising star is being given the best shot to take the mantle from Djokovic in the Wimbledon odds.

Iga Swiatek has been on a dominant run on the women’s side. Not only did Iga win the French Open, she has also dominated in the lead up to Wimbledon, handling most of her opponents with ease. Swiatek was on her way to winning the Bad Hamburg Invitational last week before withdrawing from the tournament before the finals due to food poisoning. She will take on Lin Zhu in Round 1 of Wimbledon on Monday as a +300 favorite to win the entire event.

The closest challengers to Swiatek are Elena Rybakina and Aryna Sabalenka at 5:1 and 6:1, respectively. Petra Kvitova comes in at +1300 and Cori Gauff at +1600. This group of female players comes in well rested, all of them have taken off at least a week to prepare for Wimbledon. Kvitova is coming off a victory in her last tournament, winning the Berlin Open over Donna Vekic. The variance in women’s tennis and the recent form and rest of these players has certainly given them a leg up in the Wimbledon odds.
