College Football Odds: Colorado-Oregon Odds for CFB Week 3
The University of Colorado made a huge splash this offseason when they signed Deion Sanders as their head coach. Sanders coached the previous two seasons at Jackson State, where he compiled a 27-5 record. He capped off his tenure there with a 12-0 season in 2022, winning the SWAC championship and the Celebration Bowl. Sanders accomplished the feat along with his son, Shedeur Sanders as Jackson State’s quarterback.
Sanders brought Shedeur with him to Boulder, including fifty other transfers and tons of fanfare. Despite the attention, nobody expected much from the Buffaloes in 2023 as they got acclimated to the new regime and integrated so many new players. They quickly proved the doubters wrong, winning as three touchdown underdogs in Week 1 against TCU. Sanders and the Buffs followed that up with a sound win over the University of Nebraska.
The 2-0 record has helped the Buffs crack the top-25 at No. 18, and they can now look forward to a showdown with the 13th ranked Oregon Ducks in two weeks. The Colorado-Ducks odds are out for their showdown in Eugene, Oregon on Sept.23. The Buffs may have the hype and attention, but they will enter as 14.5 (-110) point underdogs on DraftKings.
Odds on the point total and moneyline have yet to be released. College football bettors are likely to see a high total given the explosive Buffs’ offense under Sanders and star receiver Travis Hunter. The Ducks will counter with a star of their own. They are led by Bo Nix who is one of the highest rated quarterbacks in football.

The Buffs will have to be careful not to look past their CFB Week 2 opponent prior to their matchup with Oregon. Colorado will take on the Colorado State Rams this Saturday in the “Rocky Mountain Showdown.” The Buffaloes are -23.5 (-110) favorites to beat the Rams. The game’s total is 59 points. The rams are +1100 on the moneyline to upset the Buffs.
DraftKings is also featuring two University of Colorado futures. College football bettors can grab Colorado to win the Pac-12 at +1800. Their season win total is now up to 6.5 wins (-165).
The explosion of interest in Colorado has also dramatically shifted the odds on Sanders and Hunter to win the Heisman Trophy. Sanders is +1800 to win the hardware, while Hunter enters Week 1 at +3500 on the odds board. Box Nix is +2000 to hoist the trophy.
