WNBA Championship Odds Following Breanna Stewart & Candace Parker Moves

The free-agency moves of Breanna Stewart and Candace Parker leave Courtney Vandersloot as the top free agent on the board. Reports claimed Stewart and Vandersloot were looking to team up earlier in the offseason, but it remains to be seen whether or not the Liberty will land the former Chicago Sky star.

Vandersloot has not agreed with any prospective team but announced that she will not be returning back to the Sky next season.

"To the Sky organization who drafted the little guard from a mid-major and believed in me from the jump, I couldn't have asked for anything better," Vandersloot wrote on Instagram. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have realized my dreams because of you.

"Although I never planned for this day to come, I have decided it is time for me to pursue a new beginning. I will forever be grateful for the memories I have made during my time here. As I look ahead to a new chapter, with a new team, in a new city, know that Chicago, its fans, and the Sky organization will always hold a special place in my heart. It's goodbye for now, but thank you forever."

Similarly, Stewart will be leaving the Seattle Storm, where she spent the first seven years of her WNBA career, winning two championships along the way. She has averaged 20.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game in her career, winning the 2018 WNBA MVP honors.

"It's been a roller coaster of emotions for sure, and I decided to go to New York because I want to continue to be great," Stewart told Malika Andrews on ESPN's "SportsCenter." "I want to go to the place where I can continue to help this league become better, to continue to raise the standard.

"I feel like, why not go to the biggest market in all of sports, and I'm really excited to go after their first championship."

Based on the latest WNBA championship odds, both Breanna Stewart and Candace Parker will have a great chance to add to their legacy with some more hardware next season.
