The Fever are struggling overall but have hung tight in some games, playing their opposition close in losses. That is the exact type of team to target in a tighter game at home with a 5-plus-point spread. Indiana is just 2-6 and has a negative point differential on the year, but the body of work does not reflect individual outings, especially against the right team. All the Fever need is a team willing to get up and down the floor with equal pacing and ultimately make some shots. The Mystics are no laughing matter and will not take the Fever as such either. They give up just 73 points per game but are a little more uncomfortable pushing the pace like Indiana. The opening here is limiting Elena Della Donne to not getting other teammates involved and holding back a secondary scorer like Natasha Cloud. Pushing the tempo is the best chance for the Fever to get up and stay ahead; ultimately talent should prevail for the Mystics but not by anything more than 3 to 4 points.
